  As we enter the official celebratory time of Mothers and Fathers, I want to offer some support and guidance on how to address removing items from your home that contain  emotional value .   There is clutter we collect and obtain through the years that is more than just “stuff.” Some of it contains or evokes connection, memories, and love; for times gone by, loved ones lost, and memories that we cherish for and with people we love. Just the thought of parting with sentimental items can cause some folks to feel deep guilt and sadness. I promise, it is OK to feel this way, and it is also OK to let things go. For many people the pantry is a catchall for anything that doesn't go in the fridge. There may be boxes of cereal next to the instant pot, which is next to the ripped open bag of paper towel rolls. Or maybe you store cans of beans in one cupboard, and your baking supplies in another, but both could use some help in organization.
